Welcome to the Benton County Veteran's Memorial!
Honoring Our Military Veterans Who Made The Ultimate Sacrifice
The 22nd Annual Memorial Celebration put on by the Benton County Veteran's Memorial was Monday, May 25th. We are unable to hold large gatherings due to COVID-19. The 2020 celebration was closed to the public, however a video will be provided after the ceremony for you to view.
The memorial is a tribute to the 120 military veteran's from Benton County who paid the supreme price for our freedom - giving their lives in combat. The Memorial is located on the lawn immediately south of the Corvallis National Guard building at 1100 NW Kings Blvd in Corvallis, Oregon. It is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A map is provided below.
The Memorial is a permanent structure with an "Out Grant" from the Federal Corps of Engineers. With the Oregon Army National Guard and the Memorial sharing grounds, a wonderful partnership has developed between the National Guard and the Memorial.
We invite you to come by and quietly spend a few moments pondering the human cost of maintaining freedom.
